The Vulcan VC5ED convection oven's front, sides, and top are made of rust-resistant stainless steel, which is efficient to clean. The top, rear, sides, and bottom are insulated to retain heat. The Vulcan VC5ED electric convection oven comes equipped with five nickel-plated oven racks and nickel-plated, 11-position rack guides with positive racks stops. Solid, electric sheath elements provide heat, while a two-speed blower motor distributes the steam throughout the oven cavity. The moisture vent prevents food from becoming soggy. An oven switch initiates rapid cooldown and the solid-state temperature dial control utilizes an LED display to assist the user with operation. The 5-hour countdown timer features an audible alarm to alert nearby operators.
