Description
The interior of this steamer uses the patented Klean Shield system that collects waste and moves it into the drain, keeping the cooking compartment clear to prevent unwanted flavor transfer and cross-contamination in the open reservoir.
The 22CET6.1 is the ENERGY STAR certified single SteamChef 6 counter model electric boilerless convection steamer from Cleveland Range with the compartment door hinged on the left, and the controls located on the right of the unit.
The controls on this steamer are the standard SureCook Compartment controls that includes a 60-minute electro-mechanical timer with a load compensating feature, and a manual bypass switch for constant steam.
The compartment of this steamer holds up to 6 full-size (12" x 20" x 2 1/2" deep) steam table pans and features a 12 kW heating element that transfers heat quickly and efficiently via its solid aluminum block casing. The heating element in this steamer never needs to be delimed since it is not immersed in water.
This SteamChef 6 counter model electric boilerless convection steamer is ENERGY STAR certified and it has a 64% Cooking Energy Efficiency that consumes water at 10.0 gallons per hour. The steamer UL listed and NSF listed for safety.
The 22CET6.1 boilerless convection steamer is an electric unit and runs at 240 Volts, 60 Hertz, 1-phase, for the 12 kW heating element, and hardwiring is required. The steamer has 3/4" Female Garden Hose connections and a 1/2" ball valve style automatic drain. All plumbing, gas, or electrical connections should always be made by qualified personnel who will follow all of the proper plumbing, sanitary, and safety codes and guidelines.
This boilerless convection steamer stands firmly on heavy-duty 4" adjustable skid-resistant legs with flanged feet.
